Name: Xelain
Breed: Icelandic. <3
Age: Erm... hold on... um... OK let's say four.
Pelt: A thick line of fur adorns his small body. A marble and swirl of different browns, blacks and white. A chocolate brown marks it place near the chest area, as it fades into a lighter brown. The brown stops and the white swirls in, it extends down to the back right leg. The white dips into a yellow-ish white and runs down his leg until the hoof. A large patch of medium brown takes up quite a bit of room on the top half of his back right leg. His two front legs are about equally parted with white and brown. Actually it looks like he's wearing a small shirt with the sleeves rolled up. His back left leg is shaded in with a dark almost black color. Back to his chest area, the brown extends up the neck and to the face. The brown color fades a little and it surrounds a white diamond shape on his head. Perched on his 'mighty' head are two black ears, rather cute. <3 To finish it off a large brown spot is right on his rump. Hehe...
Eyes: Well you can't really see them through his mane but... Xelain's eyes are like piercing knives, with innocence. When you first glance into them you know he's sweet, but when you turn your back you can't help but wonder if he's playing a hoax on you. A mix of different shades of browns are the coloring in his eyes. Flecks of orange can be seen if you look deeply.
Mane and Tail: Let's start with his mane shall we? Overall most of his mane grows in his eyes causing visual problems. Sure flicking it out of the way would help, for normal hair. It's parted to one side of his body, it's always been that way. The eye eating part of his mane is pure white, maybe with a little dirt in it, but that doesn't matter. The ivory part of the mane ends about mid-way, the white turns to a pitch black color. It may have a few stains and what not, but nobody can notice it, it's black and too thick. At the very bottom of the mane a little tiny tuff is spared with ivory. So basically it's a double colored mane, with maybe a few dirt stains. Moving along to the tail. Well the tail, what can I say about it? It's long, rough and black. There is much I can described about it. Other than at the top there is a bit of white. Only a bit, if you only looked at the bottom portion you would swear there was no white on that tail. But believe you me, there is.
Hooves: Yay hooves, such a wonderful thing. Those are the things on the horse that makes it go clip clop on cobble stone and cement etc. Well anyway, the first two from hooves are a lovely creamy shade of white. It's an earthy tone, just beautiful I might add. Well his back two hooves, they've seen better days... they're crusty, and a yicky yellow-white color. >.>
Line of Power: Xelain doesn't have a line of power... it's odd. He has a Artimis, but no line of power. >.>

Hehe. Do you really want it that long? OK... -devilish grin-
Once upon a time the end. ^^ Better? Just joking of course.
Introduction
You've all heard the same story 'well he/she escaped and started a new life and killed off all his/her enemies with his/her SPECIAL POWERS!' Right? Well that has nothing on Xelain. He was ALWAYS there, through re-birth and death. Using the same name over and over again. No matter where you were, he was there. Sure, try to avoid him, but you just can't. His spirit runs through with this world.
The Beginning
Well, that would be kind of unfair to say he was always there. I guess I should tell you a bit about his past. In fact, this will be the beginning of his past.
Ah the baby foal, a beautiful thing. Something that never strays too far from it's mother for a sense fear feeds on it's stomach. But at the same time a sense of adventure dwells in the pits. For the small foal dubbed Xelain, adventure and exploration was always the least of his expectations. No, he would rather spend his days just lazing around with the elders, chatting about how to heal and what not. Although, something he heard always did get his attention. The elders always used to blab about these creatures they have witnessed called and Artimis. Of course no foal knew what they were except Xelain. He was told they were mighty creatures, very proud and vicious things. They held magical powers that if you got hit by them you would die. His mother told him otherwise. She said she had saw one and it was the most beautiful thing she ever saw. A mother hugging a small brown haired child, and a weasel snuggled between them. She often talked about it. She had said that it looked like Mother Earth and her daughter. Yes, no one had seen a sight like that before. She was convinced they were Artimises. Xelain however didn't believe her, he thought they were vicious creatures. His mother didn't care.
So many months passed, Xelain grew and grew. His small foal was no more. He was starting to develope, he heard even more stories that the elders told. Tales of heroes and heroines, killers and the banned. Had they been there forever? It seemed like it. The stories grew more violent as he peeked and dominated the age of one. He was reluctant to leave his mother's side, for she grew ill. Even when the once foals hardly saw their mothers Xelain was by his mother's side at all costs. He heard less stories from the elders as they died off. New elders were set into place, they were rather sour, and had no good stories. The closest they ever got to a good story was when they ate a patch of brown grass. Xelain grew unhappy, the exciting elders died off and his mother was on the line of passing. Sorrows didn't fill his soul, only happy memories. Like the first time he saw the Northern Lights, his first snow fall. Ah yes, who could forget the first time he ate grass. Glory and happy times. Sad and bad times, mostly happy.
So yet again, the seasons flew by like the pages of a book. His mother's health improved, as the first snowfall of the year came. Light dainty flakes floated from the heavens. This time the weather was not so patient. A quiet night fell on the grounds, tonight was the eve of his seperation. No one was awake, except for the guards. The night started out like any other, the crisp wind thrashed against them, a bed of snow was the only thing the kept them warm. Large gray clouds floated into the sky. Of course the only way the guards knew this was by the way the 'souls' in the sky were disappearing. Pttf, whatever it was going to be a light snowfall. That assumtion was wrong of course. This hit them in surprise, a large ice storm. Many bodies were lifeless that night and many were seperated from loved ones. As the wind thrased against Xelain's now awake body he was determined to make his way to his mother. With a thrust of his head and his eyes closed he took small stiff steps hoping to reach her. But, before he knew it, it was day break, then dawn, then the morning, his herd, left him. Harsh, but they assumed him to be dead, it was painful, but some way he had to deal. His legs felt weak and wobbly his eyes felt weary, finally he collapsed.
The Middle
As he awoke, it was a new era for him. A new hope, a new life. A journey was one the horizon. Yes it was time for him, to make it to Temporal Shrines. He had heard the myths from the elders. It was where the Artimises roosted, and other horses resided. It was apparently a lovely land, fileld with sunny days, and fun? Either way he was absolutely determined to reach the land, so he set off.
So he figured it would take him about a week if he kept his views set straight... well that's what the elders said. d**n, was everything he believed in based on the fact of an old fart? Maybe he should've been like the other foals and explored. Yes he was living life in a dream. How embaressing if he found himself right back where he started. Well embaressing to him of course. He had no sense in navigation, he didn't know North from South. Maybe this trip wasn't going to be a piece of cake after all. Wait a tick... didn't the elders say something about a pathway to Temporal Shrines? They said that it began at a large green forest... but there were so many of them around. His thoughts killed him inside, until he remember what Elder Relan had said. 'Yeah, it's that one forest with the star shape carve into the large Maple Tree.' Perfect, his mother had showed him that forest whe he was a foal, he knew exactly where it was... maybe. He turned his body around and sped into a canter. His head bobbed up and down and he shook it fiercly. A new dawn, yes finally.
There wasn't much on the way, although the amount of snow decreased dramatically, as he neared the forest in the distance there was no snow. It was like... some sort of illusion. Nah, probably just climate.
Standing taller than the rest of the trees was the Star Maple, he quickened his pace until he reached the woodland. Finally, this was were his REAL journey began. Action packed. As he glanced around the path was no where to be seen. He it grown in? Possibly, or was just hiding. He lowered his and stomped his hoof, a thud and a fall was all he heard. An underground path eh? Easy enough, for now. So, really nothing to see under ground, it was safe and harmless.
Yes, it was all fun and harmless until the path came up in the middle of the forest, that figures. No it wasn't one of those tripod choice things it was a straight sort of curvy path. The forest was empty, except for the ocassional deer, and or bunny. Well this path wasn't the right one for action... maybe there would be some in Temporal Shrines.
The End
Yes, the path ended. The foreign land came into place, now wasn't something special supposed to happen? Was he supposed to get an award, an Artimis? Nothing, he was just there presenting himself to the open. That trip was worth nothing. NOTHING! Not even describing it was worth anything. Of course not. Typical, you go through all this walking for nothing. Like is a pain.
Xelain lifted his head and faced the rays of the sun, they felt soothing and calming. Like the Mother Earth Artimis his mother spoke to him about. She was reaching out to him (Kodak Moment). A large content sigh could be heard from him, maybe this trip wasn't so bad after all. I wish I could live forever. He mumbled.
"Then so it shall be," a voice boomed. Xelain raised his head even higher and in his sight was a beautiful woman.
"I beg your pardon?" he asked squinting.
"Your wish is my command young stallion," she added with a smile hold out her hand. He approached her curiously as she landed herself.
"Excuse me?" he asked sniffing her hand. She giggled like a child.
"You wish to live forever, so you will," she commented pulling her hand back. Xelain thingyed his head. "Listen stallion you shall not live forever but you shall be reborn after you die," she explained.
"Is that all you can give me?" he questioned in a greedy tone.
"Yes," she mumbled, with that note she was gone... And over the years Xelain was been reborn, and now it's present day.
Do wish to have an Artimis? Oui. ^^
If so, what shape is it in? Mother Earth Silly.
Can you describe his features? She has beautiful long blue-ish hair and his wearing a shirt fit for a goddess. She has a braid-like twist going on with a few strands of hair. Her child is Dasina's future Artimis.
