Morbent Fel was alone. He was always alone. His black bodice melted into the shadows that cloaked the sky, his dark orbs focused on the ruins. The ruins that once made up the Southern Shrine. The jetty beast ventured closer to the gray, crumbling rocks. Pink wildflowers grew out from under the crushing weight of the ruins. Green grass still wet with dew brushed against Morbent's slim legs, the hair on them already matted and damp.
They said a Goddess lived here. Who was to say they were right? The jetty stallion watched the orange sun start to sink below the horizon. Dark shadows from the ruins and the bronc stretched out behind their forms. The sky soon became a painting of blues, pinks, purples, yellows and oranges. Morbent turned his gaze from the horizon back to the ruins. He stepped forward, crushing a wild flower beneath his hoof.
Twin auds flicked forward, as the stallion moved at slow jog away from the ruins. There was a sound of rocks being shifted as if something was stepping on them. Morbent turned his dream box back to the ruins, seeing nothing.

xXxGah! Im so sorry I didn't reply! It just completrly slipped out of my mind! How feeble minded am I...xXx From out of the undying shadows, two cat like eyes stared out in the milky abiss, it gently purred under the brush spying upon the equine that neared it so feeble mindedly. His fur rose when he sensed the magck, hidden well, but there. Now this creature caught her interest. It's tail twiched as it saw the thing hoof away from her. Well it now, or never..
With a leaped she jumped of the tallest pillars from where she was sleeping and spying up to the next-to tallest pillar, and little by little she made her way down to from the ruins wall to the soft desert like floor. Hey! She panted as her paws sturck the dusty floor like surface with a soft thud. She did not want to give all her secrets away, so she discreetly maneuvered her charcoal fur with pasion and swiftness combined with the exact need of dignity. Who might you be? She yowled.

((lol, its okay))
Morbent turned his lucid hued crown toward the ruins, visionaries seeking the voice that had called to him. Ooids could spy nothing, the hellion advanced on the sandy loam. Why do you care, Jezebel? The masculine's brawny chassis neared the crumbling pillars, but Morbent didn't go any further. Deadlamps were lighted with a shadowed flame and a cruel smirk showed on the bronc's labrums. But if you must know, they curse me Morbent Fel. A blazing inferno surrounded the ruins, magic fire. The hellion was hoping to force his new... companion out of hiding. The fire flickered, casting their mysterious shadows on the stones. Come out, come out wherever you are. Morbent whispered, orbs still seeking the perpetrator.

That feline looked upon the equine, seeing a smirk on his face, she felt his true intentions, but stayed at the foot of the ruins. Ancient eyes seeking the power the beast held within him. He was dark, she could tell, but if that wasso, why hadn't the Temporal Knights stopped him from coming here? Weren't they supposed to keep abyone at all from coming here?
Heat grew around here, the fur on her back rising, a snarl escaped her daggers, and she pounced upon the equine's back, claws digging into the fleshy skin, to keep good balance just in case he decided to throw her off. First of.. Came here eerie voice; an echo of the fames now engulfing th ruins. As if they had not suffered enough chaos.. The feline thought. My name is not Jezebel. Her whisper was furiously fast paced, she was unsure if the beast could hear her, so she decided to claw up his neck and placed her jaw next to his audits. It's Greya. Now a smirked formed on her lips, claws tightening on her prey. And secondly, ...you'll have to do better than that to surpirse an ancient cat.

(( oops... i didn't realize you posted )) Morbent reared in agony and he felt the feline's claws sink into his flesh. As he landed he could feel blood trickling down his side. His orbs rolled back, flashing the whites of his eyes. The jetty bronc stood as still as he could, feeling more blood trickle off his chassis onto the earthen floor. Under different circumstances I'm sure it would be a pleasure to meet you, Greya. I'm called Morbent Fel.Ebon nostrils flared and the fires died down until they were no more than stray embers that disappeared on the breeze. And I was not trying to surprise you, it was you who surprised me. Morbent bucked unexpectedly, hoping to through Greya from his back. (( urk. my grammer sucks ))

(hehe) The cat smirked. You brought this unto yourself. She jumped off, and stood aways as he started to buck wildly. Her teeth flashed, hearing his curt comment.
I didn't mean to scare you. She teased, eyes flashing in mischief. She kept her bodice at the ready to jump aways from a flying hoof or any attempt for that matter to hurt her. If if this world had tought her anything at all it was the life lesson of: Trust n o o n e .
Her tail twiched as she went over to the flaming ruins, grief pouring over her. But I do believe it was a bit too much to turn to ruins afire.
She spun around, not wanting to show her back to him, feeling a but weirded out...but this soon would pass. At least she hoped.
This boy had the touch of destiny, but would that do...?

Morbent's deadlamps glared at the minx once he had stopped bucking. Nostrils flared as the ebony beast snorted, flicking his tail across his flanks. A few annoying mosquitoes hovered around, sucking the blood from his veins. I didn't exactly set them on fire, just the surrounding area. Morbent said, his words seemed to hang in the air between them then shatter into a million pieces. He glanced over to the ruins, they seemed to be fine. Something made of rock wouldn't burn that easily.
(kill me now. i had exactly 2 minutes to post in, like, 20 places. okay... maybe i had about 1/2 hour to post in 2 places. but i had to check other places first. y'know.)

The cat just rolled it's eyes, be it on or around the ruins, the fire that be there was a disgrace. Silver eyes stared up at the sky, ears twitching, catching the annoyance that under toned the beast's remark. At least the rain water will put it out..
She stretched lazily and yowled, still keeping an eye upon the brute. She could not trust him yet...
Are you a believer of the prophesy?
She curiously eyed him, pacing about the place, watching the rain clouds come closer and closer, her paws made a pattern of steps on the sandy floor that was around the temple.
She softly hummed under her breath a lullaby, performing an old magic. But one that was not visible to the naked eye.
Suddenly she stopped and smiled at herself, content with her work. She sat down, watching...waiting.

(... MY POST!!!!!! I opened another screen and then the other one disappeared along with my post!!!!! Nooooooo!!! So this is gonna suck. )
Morbent's dark eyes watched the feline pace as he slowly ran her words over in his head. "Are you a believer of the Prophecy?" The swarthy hellion snorted at Greya as he answered her. Of course, don't you? He asked her. Harks could pick up the faint sound of Greya humming as she paced. It sounded as if she was perfoming some sort of ritual. Morbent snorted again and dug a hoof into the sandy loam.
She seemed to be watching something, someone. Morbent took a cautious step backwards, who knew what the feline was really doing? She could be plotting to kill him for all he knew.

Casting her wide-almond shaped eyes at him, she smiled. Of course. She purred, stretching her long legs before her bodice, fur lifting on her nape, a low rumbling in the deep of her throat. Her ears swiveled around, listening to the rumble of the rain clouds; the spell was cast. She saw him take a step back, his corporal movements spelling fear before her eyes. Do not be frightened, I will not harm you. She grinned, sitting now. I am but a small feral cat, nothing a big bad equine can't handle.
Her tail twitched, drumming on the ground with persistence. She kept her eyes on Morbent, still smiling. She did not know how long the time stretched before them, but the silence was deafening. It was almost, mortal. A living breathing thing. She laughed. I know what you are here for, but I can't let you take it just yet...Destiny has his eyes upon you. He forbids me to help just yet. But...I can give you a small riddle, if you wish.

The world seemed stand still for a moment as the words Greya spoke reached the bronc's lobes. "Destiny has his eyes upon you." He didn't seem to hear the other words the feline had uttered, but they seemed to registed. But why would destiny want him, Morbent Fel? He wasn't anybody.
Morbent was jolted out of his thoughts by a clap of thunder followed by a few raindrops. So thats what the minx had been doing. Rain. Another thought hit Morbent as the drops darkened his pelt. Greya was the Goddess. The Goddess that was said to live here. It was a feline. It was Greya. Tell me. The swarthy hellion said softly. Tell me the riddle.

Greya merely smiled, pleased at the expresion Morbent Fel now held. Oh so he knows... He's a clever one. She purred loudly, streaching her limbs, nails flashing as li8ghtning struck. It is pretty simple, for this is just your first test. There are many more to come. Her eyes glowed a translucent color in the darkness he rain clouds provided from above. She turned about, pacing lightly over to the steaming shrine. She set a paw upon the stone; it was warm.
Now that she was below a roof, she spun and sat, letting her bushy tail move from side to side, eyes still glowing. Her teeth flashed, mouth coming open just so... Come closer... Her voice had made the earth tremble a bit, but she doubted the mortal beast would notice, for the rain would distract him. It poured hard, having no mercy on whom it struck. Her whiskers twicthed. Your next challenge of sorts will come from North, when three moons have spun. It is in claimless land, where your next challenger will meet you. He will speak of the moons, and will ask just three requests from you. From there you will choose your Line of Power, in the heat of suffering you must offer your Line of Life. Only he will decide if your test was passed.
She grinned. Like I said, it was easy. Your other tets wil be harder.
She lowered her head in dismisal and ran off across the war tainted land. At just that instant, the rain had ceased.
