The winds shifted as a new equine bid her way through these peaceful and sacred lands. Birds chirped enjoyably, making her welcome actually... welcoming.
It put a smile on her face to see the happiness that loomed over this land, to see a herd of deer and a pack of wolves together without causing any kind of fuss.
No one had to stay on the stance of complete alertedness, she sighed, letting all her worries go untroubled.
This trully felt like Paradise...if only her mother could be here to witness such a marvelous thing.
Closing her orbits, she let the winds carress her...making her feel at home.
Her lips parted in the exhilaration, words being easy on her lips...
Oh how beautiful!
She exclaimed with admiration, taking note of the clear blue skies and the silloute of mountains in the nearby pass.
Her audits even twiched withthe change of song in the bird's tune, taking a more joyous tune.
She giggled and nodded at the array of birds that perched on the biggest willow tree she had set her eyes upon.
One humming bird came to perch on her mane, checking for ticks and such.
The sensation was ticklish upon her mane, and Damaris found herself laughing with joy...something that didn't appear to come easily on the past few weeks.
Why...hello.
She dipped her cran once she had surpresed her laughter and settle into a more dignified composure, but she knew she did not fool the birds for they flew around her with such curiosity.
She could not bear so much flapping around her ears that she trotted a few paces and bid adew to them, trying to be her politest. But she found that she still had one follower...the humming bird.
Go now.
Isn't your family going to miss you if you stray too far?
The bird, as if in answer, soomed past her, humming excitedly with the most lively tunes that Damaris had ever set her ears upon.
Damaris giggled and galloped after the humming bird, feeling a sense of peace loom over her as time seemed to stand still in this foreigned land.
She didn't feel trapped any longer, she wasn't looked upon with ugly scowls and no one made her feel her worst.
Here, she could be herself and be loved.
She was free of her herd, free of her homeland.
Her mane rippled as a smile, that had not been there for months, shaped her lips.
Her hooves made the earth rumble and soon she found herself steeping on soft earth, and gallopind straight into water.
The feeling was shockingly wonderful, and she let out a gasp as the chillyness swept over her frame, blue orbits looking up to the skies in search of the hummingbird that had led her there.
But he was not found there...instead he sat perched on a mapple tree, looking at her mockingly.
You!
She laughed and galloped over to the shores, making the water rise and spray over the small bird.
He flew up in dismay and seemed to chattered angrily at her, but she ignored the flying thing and went back to the small oasis that claimed her as it's own.
And quite suddenly, she found herself in a completly different and new world...
